At summer art camp,
the students created art using
Eric Carl's texture rich illustrations
as inspiration.
We started by planning our design
and painting areas of colour
and painting areas of colour
with acrylics. We used sponges, fingers, forks, layering
and anything we could think of to add interest and texture.
After gluing the pieces to stiff paper, we covered them with wax paper and let them dry with weights over them.
