photocopy a photo of yourself onto normal copier paper
tape a hanging cord to the back of your foam core or cardboard
fill in the back of the photocopy with pencil
turn the copy over and place it on your foam core or cardboard
pressing firmly, trace the lines of the face
this will transfer the pencil from the back of the paper to your art surface
now it's time to glue all kinds of stuff to the lines
elastics, buttons, pennies, google eyes, straws, yarn - whatever you have
