piano lessons

In August I decided to teach piano for an afternoon and evening
once a week. It seemed like a good addition to my art practice.

So I made this poster, and worked up my courage to display it -you know,

hang up my shingle. We live in a pretty small place, so thanks to word of mouth, I had Mondays booked before I knew it, and never put up the ad.

 

I so enjoy teaching piano. It is quiet and focused and exciting to see progress each week. The very different personality of each student adds to the fun. My three kids have also asked for instruction, so we will see how that goes too:)

and for work that I love.
