"why do we always have to be the piniatas???"
Beginning this project felt a little weird- to be creating something with the intention of taking a baseball bat to it. I must say I enjoyed the tactile experience of paper mache: ripping the newsprint, smoothing it out with the paste, getting goop and paint on my hands and arms. I had some eager help pasting on the construction paper features and filling them with candy. All around a fun and satisfying project!
